Samsung adorns the pole position when it comes to global smartphone market share. Although the budget sensitive arena tells you a whole another story, the South Korean MNC has managed to climb the top of the ladder with their flagship offerings.
Each year, the company releases two flag bearing devices, one under S and the next in Note series. Samsung delivers new software updates to their flagship devices first (this year, they were S10 and Note 10), as is the case with any other OEM out there,
In the past, buyers used to care only about major operating system updates. But times have changed now. You can now see people coming out with their concerns on different social platforms and asking why the latest security patch hasn’t hit their devices.
As you might know, security updates safeguard your handset from periodically rising vulnerabilities. That brings us to a long list of devices Samsung rolled out December update for. The first in the list is T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Active.
We couldn’t grab a screenshot from an actual user. And, the official tracker hasn’t been updated yet as well. You need to wait for it to see what are the changes the new update brings to the front. Along with the T-Mobile Active variant, the regular US unlocked S8/S8+ also received the same patch.
It seems like the South Korean manufacturer is on a roll. Apart from those two, we have got to know the arrival of December update for Samsung Galaxy S9 too. And yeah, you will have to stay tuned to this story in order to know the other changes it brings.
Last in the list is US unlocked Note 8, for which the November OTA went live around a month ago. Currently circulating package contains December security overhaul as you might have already guessed.
In order to get a glimpse of every feature and bug fix the new builds bring to the respective smartphones, you will have to wait a bit more as we widen the range of our radar to pick changelogs and screenshots from actual users.
