Since its revival, Nokia has been a name to reckon with when it comes to delivering timely security or firmware updates. For their disciplined update cycle, the OEM has been able to create a loyal user base.

Alongside the Android 10 update, this HMD Global-backed phone maker is also occupied with the preparation of the December 2019 security patchset that brings a lot of fixes for serious vulnerabilities.

And in a recent turn of events, Nokia has pushed in the latest security update for the Nokia 3.2 and the carries models of the Nokia 3.1 family. 

Notably, Nokia 3.2 update is arriving for global and European users while Nokia 3.1 A is getting the update on AT&T, Nokia 3.1 C and 3.1 Plus is receiving the update on Cricket Wireless.

Let us take a look at the updates received on the devices, one by one:

Nokia 3.2

Nokia 3.2 was launched in June 2019, and packs in features like Snapdragon 429 SoC, 2/3 GB of RAM, a 4,000 mAh battery, a 6.26-inch display and offers 16/32 GB of onboard storage as well.

Earlier, this month, we have reported that the device was served with the November 2019 security patch. Cut to now, the latest update is arriving with the version number V1.41E and weighs in around 65.1 MB in size.

The update is purely incremental in nature and will hit the units via OTA in batches. However, if you wish to manually sideload the update on your Nokia 3.2 then, head to the below section:

Talking about the update, the Nokia 3.1 A and 3.1 C is getting the update with version number V1.41H on AT&T and Cricket Wireless respectively.

Moreover, the update for Nokia 3.1 Plus on Cricket Wireless is arriving with version number V1.26M. Notably, the unlocked variant of this model is still on November 2019 security patchset.

Keep in mind that the update is being pushed via OTA in batches and will take some time in hitting all the units. However, you can manually check for the notification by heading to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check for update.
