OnePlus has been on a roll this year with its successful launch of the year firstly, with the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro and then later with the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro. 

Moreover, the Chinese OEM has also been very popular with the timely rollout of the security as well as firmware updates, which has been one of the compelling reasons for the user to go for the brand.

Besides, ever since the launch of Android 10, OnePlus has kept themselves busy with the push of OxygenOS 10 which is based on Android 10. And in a recent development, OnePlus has pushed in a surprising OxygenOS 10.3.0 update for the OnePlus 7/7 Pro.

Taking a look at the updates received on both the devices, the update does bring in some camera and system improvements for both the devices. But, one important point to note is that there is still no official announcement from OnePlus as of now.

And it looks like this new OxygenOS 10.3.0 update, is India specific, as the same version jump happened with the recently launched OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro series as well. This has been officially confirmed by one of the community experts on the OnePlus forums. You can check out the screenshot of the same below:

Matter of fact, PiunikaWeb Readers must remember that OnePlus recently pushed in the November 2019 security patch via OxygenOS 10.0.3 update. Also, we have reported that both the devices got the Open Beta 7 update just a day ago.

OnePlus which is also known for passing on new features from new devices to older ones, with this update is doing the same as both OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro is getting India specific features from 7T to 7 series phones.

Now coming back to the updates, the update for the OnePlus 7 weighs in around 304 MB in size, while the update for OnePlus 7 Pro weighs in around 298 MB in size.

– Added the notch area display option in the Settings (Settings – Display – Notch display – Hide the notch area)
– Improved the launching speed of some apps
– Optimized the RAM Management
– Optimized the black and white screen issues with some apps
– Improved system stability and general bug fixes

Note that the updates are incremental/delta zips, as full zips are not captured yet. Besides, it will arrive via OTA in batches. However, if you wish to manually update your device to the latest update then, you can head to the below section for downloading update package file:
