New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on December 13, 2019) follows:
Earlier this week, a Samsung representative through the official Korean community said the stable Galaxy Note 10 Android 10 update would be released before Christmas day.
This statement was also made in reference to the Galaxy S10 5G, which has gone ahead to receive the stable One UI 2.0 update in Korea. When the Note 10 missed out on the said OTA, concerns started emerging, but they were quickly calmed down.
Apparently, the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ weren’t supposed to get the fifth One UI 2.0 beta update, but they did anyway.
But on the brighter side, the pair has started receiving the stable Android 10 update in Europe as build number BSL7. So far, the rollout is limited to those who participated in the One UI 2.0 beta program, hence the small-sized update of just 144MB.
The stable Galaxy Note 10 Android 10 update, as expected, also tags along the new One UI 2.0 alongside the latest December security patch, although the latter has also hit the Pie-based models.
Speaking of Pie-based models, it’s still unknown when the full firmware will be available for those who didn’t participate in the One UI 2.0 beta program. But if history is anything, we should begin to see the wider rollout of the OS over the weekend and early next week.
For those who have the final beta 5 installed (ZSL7) on their Exynos Galaxy Note 10 or Note 10+ yet the latest stable OTA hasn’t arrived, you may grab the OTA firmware below and flash it manually to switch to the stable Android 10.
