Samsung UK reveals its One UI 2.0 update (Android 10) release schedule

Samsung’s stable update to One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 is already rolling out in parts of Europe. The initial rollout went out yesterday to those who participated in the beta program but later on expanded to those coming from Android Pie.

So far, those using the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S10+ in Germany have picked up the stable One UI 2.0 update and more regions are expected to join the party as the year draws to an end.

The stable Galaxy S10 Android 10 update came on the back of Samsung revealing its official One UI 2.0 update release schedule in select markets, including Israel, India and parts of Europe.

Surprisingly, the Galaxy S10 Android 10 update arrived in Germany way ahead of schedule and we expect the same to continue in more regions despite the roadmaps that Samsung is still pushing to device owners via the Samsung Members app.

The latest market to receive their official One UI 2.0 update roadmap is the UK, where Samsung says the stable version of Android 10 will begin rolling out in January 2020 to the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series and their 5G variants.

Unlike folks in other parts of Europe where the Galaxy Note 9 and S9 will reportedly receive Android 10 in February, Samsung UK is adamant that these devices will pick up their One UI 2.0 updates in January alongside the S10 and Note 10 lineups.

The One UI 2.0 update will then arrive on the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) in August 2020 before the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 join the party in September 2020, a year after the OS went public.

As usual, software update release dates are subject to change and we hope these dates will be changed to shorten the waiting period of Android 10 update on various Samsung Galaxy devices in the UK.
