If you are the owner of Huawei Mate 30 Pro and/or the Huawei P30 Lite then, this piece of news might excite you that there are a bunch of updates waiting for the users.
In a recent development, the global units of Huawei P30 Lite are made eligible for the beta EMUI 10 based on the Android 10 update. Not only this, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is also receiving a bunch of performance and bugfix updates.
Notably, the Chinese ROM brings in a lot of enhancements for camera, sound, and system while another update brings in improvements for touchscreen for the latter. Let us take a look at the updates received on both the devices, one by one.
Huawei P30 Lite
Great news for P30 Lite users as the EMUI 10 (Android 10) beta recruitment is underway for global users. As a beta tester, users are required to experience the EMUI 10 based on Android 10 firsthand and give feedback for its further improvements.
To enroll yourself for this beta update, users are required to download the Beta test app which you can download from here, and then log in to the project.
Moreover, we have reported that the P30 Lite is expected to the first among the other Huawei devices to get the Android 10 based EMUI 10 update.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro
Huawei brought in the Mate 30 series of devices that include Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro and Mate 30 RS Porsche Design – back in September 2019 at an event in Munich, Germany.
Out of which the Mate 30 Pro is one of the best camera-centric flagship devices available. Talking about some specs, it features Kirin 990 SoC, a mammoth 4,500 mAh battery, 6.53-inch OLED display, quad-camera at back (including 40 MP primary sensor) and dual selfie camera setup.
The device also comes with a face ID and an under-display fingerprint scanner along with a reverse wireless charging function. It supports fast-charging up to 40W and fast wireless charging up to 27W.
Now talking about the updates that hit the device, the first one brought quite a few enhancements for the Mate 30 Pro. The OTA arrives with version number 10.0.0.161 and weighs in around 656 MB in size.

In fact, a couple of days later, another update hit the Chinese ROM of the device that brought in some touchscreen related improvements. It was just a system patch weighing around 2.34 MB in size.

This is not the first time the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has picked up an improvement update, as back in October it got an update that added ultra HD night video recording, fixes for the Gallery app bug & more.
