Realme has really changed the dynamics of the smartphone market today, with aggressive pricing for its flagship level phones. With the recently launched Realme X2 Pro, the OEM is grabbed a lot of attention.
For specs buff, it packs in specs like Snapdragon 855+ SoC, 90Hz refresh rate display, 4,000 mAh battery, quad-camera setup with 64 MP primary lens, all at a price of a mid-range device.
This makes the Realme X2 Pro a direct competitor of the OnePlus 7T. Not only this, thanks to the previously launched mid-ranger Realme 5 series, Realme grabbed their record 7th position in the list of top 10 global smartphone makers by shipping approximately 10 million smartphones according to a report by Counterpoint Research.
Amidst all of this exciting news, the company has pushed in a new bugfix update for the Realme XT smartphone. To recall, the Realme XT has features like Snapdragon 712, 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 4,000 mAh battery, 4/6/8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of onboard storage, etc.
Moreover, the device got its November security patchset a few days back with update version A.12 that also brought in Nightscape mode for the front camera as well.
Coming to this new update, it arrives with the version number A.13 and shares the same changelog as A.12 but brings in a fix for an issue that was causing some apps such as Google Suite to crash.

Not only this, we reported yesterday the hands-on images leak of Realme XT running Android 10 as the company unveiled the latest ColorOS 7 for its devices.
Moreover, the company has also shared the ColorOS 7 timeline in a conference held in Beijing. Below is the image shared by Realme in its community platform.
The important point to note is that all the Realme models will be updated to ColorOS 7. Looking at the image above, the Realme X and X Lite (aka Realme 3 Pro) is slated to receive the ColorOS 7 in Q2 2020, while the Realme Q (aka Realme 5 Pro) will get the update in Q3 2020 and the Realme X2 (aka Realme XT) and X2 Pro will be served with ColorOS 7 in Q4 2020.
In fact, back in September, the company shared its Android 10/Q timeline that included only 8 devices, while the rollout was slated to begin in Q1 2020.
Fast forward to October, the company also came up with the ColorOS 7 roadmap in China and kickstarted its beta program at the beginning of November ahead of ColorOS 7 (Android 10) update.
The new ColorOS 7 roadmap which was recently shared seems pretty different from what was shared back in October (above image). We will keep you in loop once we have more information in this regard.
