Xiaomi Mi 9 is among the few devices from the Chinese company to have already picked up their stable Android 10 updates. The OS arrived as part of the update that bumped the MIUI skin from version 10 to the latest version 11.
At the time of rolling out, the Mi 9 Android 10 update arrived with the-then latest security patch for the month of October 2019. Today, the device is receiving a new update that installs the most up to date security patch dated November 2019.
The Mi 9 November update is arriving on the global variant as MIUI 11.0.3.0.QFAMIXM and weighs in at a significant 470MB.
Given that this is only the first post-MIUI 11 and post-Android 10 update, it’s likely that it includes optimizations and bug fixes discovered in the initial release. However, the changelog doesn’t say much in this regard.
It may take several days before all Mi 9 units on the global MIUI ROM receive the latest MIUI 11 update. If you can’t wait for the OTA download notification to arrive, you can as well grab the firmware from the link below and flash it manually.

First Redmi Note 8T firmware in Europe goes live
Away from MIUI 11 and Android 10 updates, the Redmi Note 8T has just picked up its first MIUI 10 firmware in Europe. Given that no Redmi Note 8 variant has received Android 10, it’s no surprise that the available Note 8T firmware is still based on Android 9 Pie.
The firmware has MIUI version 10.3.5.0.PCXEUXM and includes a generic changelog that mentions system performance optimizations and improved system security and stability.
Like the Mi 9 November update, we also have the download link to grab the new Redmi Note 8T firmware for manual installation.
