The latest Redmi Note 8 Pro software update is what many owners of the device in Europe have been longing for. The stable MIUI 11 update is here, finally, arriving as version MIUI 11.0.1.0.PGGEUXM and weighs in at 601MB.

Although Xiaomi has already released Android 10 stable updates to a handful of its devices, the incoming MIUI 11 update for the Note 8 Pro is still based on Android 9 Pie, the pre-installed OS.

The Indian and global variants of the Note 8 Pro already picked up their stable MIUI 11 updates and as expected, the changelog for their European counterpart is identical, including the October security patch.

Elsewhere, those using the global variant of the slightly older Redmi Note 7 have a new update. Like its Indian counterparts whose initial MIUI 11 update was halted and later re-released, the global Note 7 MIUI 11 update has been re-released, this time with the latest November security patch.

The initial MIUI 11 update for the global Redmi Note 7 arrived as version 11.0.3.0.PFGMIXM and it included September security patches. While everything else remains the same in the updated MIUI 11.0.4.0.PFGMIXM, the security patch level has been bumped to the latest version available.
