No matter how many smartphones come out, Motorola always stand out with the feat of having released the first mobile phone ever. The company came into existence back in September 1928 in the United States.

Due to a massive financial crisis, the brand was split into two in 2011. A year after, Google acquired the mobile division, Motorola Mobility. By releasing software updates without delaying much, the Mountain View-based tech titan made a reputation among gadget enthusiasts.

After Lenovo acquired Motorola, the quick OTA delivery has become a mirage. Obviously, they went back in the one area they defied other brands. Back in the day, users didn’t care about getting updates in time. But, it’s not the same today!

Maybe, that’s why the recently released models are getting monthly security updates (not regularly, though). To recall, One Power received November patch a few days ago. And, what caught our eyes today is the same update to Motorola One Vision.

Apart from bumping up the security patch to November, it doesn’t bring anything new to the device. In fact, you will have to immerse yourself in disappointment if you had anticipated the next OTA would upgrade the OS version to Android 10.

No Android 10

Usually, the update would light up your Motorola One Vision’s screen as a notification. In case you don’t get it, go to Settings>> System>> Advanced>> System updates. There you will have it. On the completion of the process, select Restart now. That’s it!

What if you are too impatient to wait for the notification? Well, you can manually install the update using the fastboot flashable zipped file given below. We recommend you to avoid this route if you have no experience with the method.

  • Device: Motorola One Vision
  • Channel: Global Stable
  • Version: PSAS29.160-50-3
  • Android: 9
    • Type: Fastboot flashable

You know how manufacturers rollout firmware updates. Owing to the clustered delivery, you may have to wait for a few days to get the notification. That way, you won’t need to play with the zipped file.
