Xiaomi is keeping up with the pace of rolling out the latest MIUI 11 update for its compatible devices. Notably, the phones do not require to be running on Android 10 for getting MIUI 11.
Moreover, a lot of Xiaomi devices have already been served with the 11th iteration of MIUI in different regions. And in a recent development, Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite (aka Mi CC9 in China) is getting MIUI 11 updates that tags along October security patch.
In fact, this is the second MIUI 11 update for Mi 9 Lite. The previous update carried the version number v11.3.2.0 and tagged September 2019 security patch.
But this new update, which is being pushed for global as well as European models of the Mi 9 Lite, bumps the security patch level to October 2019.
It carries version number V11.3.3.0.PFCMIXM for global MIUI release while the EEA release gets V11.3.3.0.PFCEUXM. Note that this new update is still based on Android 9 Pie and there is no signs of Android 10 update.
