Fitbit notifications glitch on iOS 13 officially acknowledged, still no sign of a proper fix

Wearable gadgets are not alien to people today. They come in handy to check notifications when you can’t pull out your phone from the pocket. And, there are many other advantages, including sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring etc.

You can’t overlook Fitbit when it comes to fitness bands. As the name indicates, the company solely work on releasing wearable fitness gadgets. Akin to other products in the category, Fitbit bands also connect to your phone via Bluetooth and there’s an application to enhance the working.

Those who are using iPhones, coupled with Fitbit wearables are in a dilemma now! Ever since the Cupertino giant released the beta build of iOS 13, they haven’t been able to get the notifications to work. Let’s hear it from a worried user.

(Troubleshooting) Notification push is hit or miss
Hello, I received a Charge 3 as a gift not too long ago, and I’ve been having troubles with notifications pushing ever since I got it. Most of the time, rebooting the device seems to get sync back to normal, but then will randomly stop pushing after a little while. It does this constantly. What’s also weird is that it is syncing my fitness information just find within the background, but is still having troubles pushing notifications to the watch. Is anyone else having these issues? Is there a better fix than to constantly reboot my watch? Thanks! Device info posted below

We could find many concerns on Twitter too. And, it’s the same with the official forum as well. For a significant percent of customers, the notifications for the text messages and calls fail to appear on the screen.

The company did release a few workarounds that may temporarily fix the problem. Point to be noted is that many people confirmed those solutions went in vain. You can have a look at the image and the link given below to check them out.

Possibly, the changes Apple made on iOS 13 might have caused this issue. For the trouble to go away, Fitbit need to adopt to the alterations. So far, they haven’t done anything other than acknowledging the issue on 9 October 2019.
