The outer part of these objects are made of some metal alloy and are very cold. The glass screen gives out a light purple color. He touched the glass screen to see if it would react, but nothing happened. Professor Willow thinks that when Team Go Rocket Grunts were using some sort of device to take over Pokestops and collect resources.
He also thinks that these mysterious components are serving the purpose of Pokestops takeover. But he thinks that Team Go Rocket is using this technology for other purposes too. He said he will use these components to track down Team Go Rocket hideouts, and he will update the trainers when he finds something more.
