Everyone knows iOS is exclusive to devices manufactured by Apple. And, this exclusivity helps them keep the common threats away to a great extent. However, there are many who fall victim to fake jailbreaking sites.

Apple had released the latest iteration of their platform, iOS 13 on 19 September 2019, just a day before their iPhone 11 series went live. They integrated a dark mode, new privacy features, Photos app, location data limits, new photo editing interface, and many more to it.

Despite the features, iOS 13 comes with its own fair share of bugs. The users are unable to open MP3 attachment on the Gmail app. And, the update brought a weird duplicate message issue with Outlook on the default Mail application too.

Oddly enough, devices running on iOS 13 was exhibiting Bluetooth connectivity issues ever since the release. They fixed it with the latest iteration (iOS 13.1.2). Nonetheless, the rest of the issues remain unacknowledged.

What we could spot on the official discussion forum is another problem pertaining to iOS 13. The Personal Hotspot via WiFi doesn’t work as it should. Let’s hear it in detail from an iPhone Xs Max customer.

Personal hotspot issues after ios 13
Hello,
I have an iPhone XsMax. Sometimes i am using personal hotspot to share cellular data network via Wifi, with my MacBook Pro. After updating to iOS 13, personal hotspot via Wifi does not work properly. It often disables itself. The second issue: if there is another Wifi network nearby, my MacBook just connects this one just “a second later” connecting to my iPhone’s network. I’ve reset all my network settings and nothing has changed. Now i am using iOS 13.1, any ideas?

A comment under the post indicates the officials are aware of the concern. Maybe, the devices will receive the solution as an over the air update. And, as a workaround, you can try deleting the wireless network of your iPhone from the target device and joining again. It worked for a user.

Not just a few are suffering from this bug, routing to Twitter, we stumbled upon many tweets. For some, changing the preferences even crashed the Settings app. Given the broad extend of this glitch, we think Apple will rollout a fix at once.
