Samsung recently released the long-awaited Galaxy S10 One UI 2.0 beta update that brings Android 10 to the S10 series, but this was only reported in the home country of South Korea and some European markets.
The company had indeed confirmed that the U.S. would also take part in testing Android 10 beta on the Galaxy S10 phones ahead of rollout. Today, those using any of the Galaxy S10, S10e or Galaxy S10+ on T-Mobile and Sprint can join the One UI 2.0 beta program, just as promised.
Speaking of promises, Samsung had also mentioned that U.S. unlocked variants of the S10 trio would be eligible for Android 10 beta testing. However, the company now says these variants will have to wait a little longer before the One UI 2.0 beta update arrives.
With everyone looking to join the Galaxy S10 One UI 2.0 beta program, there have been reports of the Samsung Members app crashing. This is probably because the company didn’t expect huge turnout of beta participants and got overwhelmed.
Wow, app crashed for me. (Source)
It keeps looping every time I hit register (Source)
Perhaps the huge turnout of beta testers is also the reason the company decided to stagger the Galaxy S10 One UI 2.0 beta update, with those on the U.S. unlocked models taking one for the team.
It shouldn’t be long before the U.S. unlocked S10 models join the One UI 2.0 beta party, though we can’t tell you when.
For those using the T-Mobile Galaxy S10+ variant and wouldn’t mind getting hands-on with the whole download and installation process, we have the link to download the update with us. Note that this is for the T-Mo variant with model number SM-G975U.

Just so you know, you’ll need to use adb commands to install the Galaxy S10 One UI 2.0 beta, although flashing it from stock recovery should also be an option. Regardless of the method you use, be warned that this is beta software and isn’t fit to use as a daily driver.
Perhaps the subsequent One UI 2.0 beta update would be a better place to start from. We will keep an eye on when the second beta will be released and let you know. If interested, tune in to our Samsung and Android 10 sections so you don’t miss the news when we get it.
