New updates are being added at the bottom of this story……

Original story (published on October 9, 2019) follows:

It’s been over a month since Google released the stable version of Android 10 to the Pixels, but no Samsung user knows how it feels to run the stable build of Android 10 on their devices.

Not that we expected anything different coming from Samsung, but even so, we have some good news coming down through the official U.S. Samsung Community forum.

As you can see from the image above, Samsung One UI 2.0 beta update based on Android 10 is coming soon to the U.S. The first devices to get the beta update will be the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy S10+.

Of course, not everyone will be allowed into the program. As it stands, only those using either Galaxy S10 variant on T-Mobile, Sprint or the official U.S. unlocked model will be allowed into the program.

A similar One UI 2.0 beta announcement was also made for the Korean market. Unlike in Samsung’s home country where the Galaxy S10 5G has also been confirmed to join the Android 10 beta program at a later time, no such info is accompanying the Galaxy S10 One UI 2.0 beta for the U.S. market.

It’s not clear when Samsung plans to release the said One UI 2.0 beta program in the U.S. The company will hold its annual Developer Conference later this month and it is highly anticipated that Android 10 beta will be announced at this event.

As for the devices that will receive the official One UI 2.0 stable update, Samsung has yet to finalize the list. But you can check out this unofficial list for an idea of the devices that should receive the update when it begins rolling out.

Update 1 (October 14)

In an official statement published today, Samsung has confirmed that One UI 2.0 beta based on Android 10 is now available for the global market (Exynos variants), but availability may vary based on regions.

To join the program, all you need is to register via the Samsung Members app by tapping on the One UI 2.0 beta program banner in the app and you should receive an OTA update to Android 10 beta after being approved.

Update 2 (October 17)

After Germany and Korea, the Galaxy S10 One UI 2.0 beta program has arrived in India, albeit for a limited set of users. Select Samsung fans can download and install the new OS on their S10 units ahead of the public beta testing program.
