Original story (from October 01) follows:

Have you ever seen an OEM releasing smartphones so quickly that their new models have to compete with the older ones? In the last few months, Realme is doing exactly the same. Guess what! They launched more than a dozen devices within a course of one and a half years.

The latest from the company is Realme XT. If you are a spec sheet buff, you will find out it’s an upgrade from Realme X, which went live in May 2019. Realme XT packs in Snapdragon 712 chipset coupled with up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB onboard storage with room for expansion.

Let’s put Realme XT aside for the time being and focus on its predecessor- Realme X. Launched with Android 9.0 Pie, the brand confirmed Android 10 for it is in the pipeline. What about the security patch? Well, September update surfaced on Chinese units a week ago with a lengthy changelog.

So now, they are rolling out the OTA to other markets. We could confirm its availability in India. Nonetheless, the changelog may vary from the parent country. Although we couldn’t grab the changelog, a post on the official forum verifies the arrival of Digital Wellbeing.

Given 2.77 GB size of the package, you should get a handful of new features with it. To recall, the Chinese update brought holiday alarm clock function, status bar notification prompt mode, etc. However, we are not sure whether or not the camera lag pertaining to 48 MP mode has been fixed.

The OTA started rolling out yesterday only. Owing to the clustered rollout, it may take some time to flash on your screen. So, the ideal thing for you to do is to keep waiting. Hold that thought! Is there any another way?

Well, we have pulled out the download link of the zip file. That means, you can manually flash the firmware to the latest version. In case you think the whole process is muddling, better wait for the official rollout.
