Xiaomi is one of the leading smartphone manufacturers in the world. This year especially has been quite fruitful for the company as they have topped the ranking for the 8th straight quarter in terms of shipments by brands in India in 2019.

Moreover, according to a report by Canalys, the company remains on top in India as it shipped a whooping 10.3 million smartphones in the Q2 of 2019.

This is indeed very interesting as Xiaomi is now placed in the likes of Samsung in India. It is also due to the fact that India has emerged as the strongest smartphone market even though the decline in smartphone shipments globally.

Cut to now, the company has rolled out the MIUI 10 update for the Mi 9 Lite which is a rebranded version of the Mi CC9. For specs buff, the Mi 9 Lite was launched in September 2019 and is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset which is paired with 6GB of RAM. There are two options of 64/128GB for internal storage.

In the display department, it sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED panel and houses a 32MP selfie camera in the water-drop notch. At the back, it has a triple camera setup with 48MP+8MP+2MP setup. Under the hood, the Mi 9 Lite has a 4030 mAh battery and it also comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner as well.

Talking about the update received on the Mi 9 Lite, it carries the version number 10.3.6.0.PFCEUXM and weighs in around 2.1GB in size. Below is the screenshot of the announcement and the official changelog of the update:
