This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..
Original story (from Sept 30) follows:
One of the most popular mobile games Clash Royale was launched on March 2, 2016. Since then the game has been running strong and has a huge fan base. Supercell has developed and published this game. The game became so popular that it generated revenue of $1 billion in its first year.
Clash Royale is a real-time strategy based game in which players are required to destroy the opponent’s tower. The game also features “King Tower” and its destruction results in an instantaneous win for the team who destroys it. The game features 1v1 and 2v2 mode, which means you can play the game alone or along with a team.
Today, Supercell released a new update for Clash Royale game. The latest update to the game has replaced the 2v2 button with Party Button. The new update has brought in many new features, bug fixes, and enhancements.
However, the update received backlash from players as it was plagued by many bugs. Clash Royale devs have taken the route of Twitter to address the matter and confirmed that they are currently working to fix the following list of bugs.
- Clans not showing for some players
- Party mode not giving chests
- Trophy visual bug (don’t worry, trophies are NOT won or lost!)
- Google Play Store not updating
We are keeping a close watch on this matter, and as soon as any fix arrives for the same, we will update the column. Speaking of the new Party Button, it features a variety of game modes which you can enjoy solo or with friends.
If you play any matches from the Party button, it will offer the following rewards: Crowns, Victory Gold, Chests. Game modes will keep changing every 48 hours under the new Party button. Changes to matchmaking have also been incorporated under the Party Button. Any matches played from the Party button will use new matchmaking which will be based on card levels and King levels.
A new game mode has also been introduced in the game, and it is called Triple Draft. The new mode gives you more control over your deck building strategy. You can learn more about the new game mode by heading here.
The latest update to the game has also introduced Tiebreakers to Clash Royale. There will be no more draws in any mode except 1v1 Ladder. The player who will have the lowest single Tower Hitpoints at the end of the game will lose. Also, Clash Royale’s Halloween celebration starts on October 7 with the return of SHOCKTOBER.
