Realme’s success in the last year is due to the price-to-feature ratio. Moreover, it is the brand, were more innovation and design elements are pretty aggressively implemented and it turns out users like it.
According to a report by CMR MICI survey, Realme gained the top rank among major smartphone players in terms of lowest return rates. In simpler words, lowest return rates are measured by the customer’s first visit to a service center within the first 6 months of purchase, for both online and offline buyers.
Moreover, users have also ranked Realme smartphones (90%) when it comes to smartphone reliability. According to Prabhu Ram, Head of the Industry Intelligence Group (IIG), CMR:
Realme’s product quality performed the best among the major players in the industry which is impressive.
With some positive motivation around their back, Realme came up with its powerful mid-ranger, the Realme X2 on 24th September 2019.
Talking about the specs, X2 is powered by the Snapdragon 730G processor which is paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM with optional 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. It sports a 6.4-inch waterdrop notch styled Super AMOLED display.
In the camera department, it houses a quad-camera setup with 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP lenses and in the front, the Realme X2 has a 32MP sensor for selfies. Under the hood, the device packs in a massive 4,000 mAh battery along with the in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
Surprisingly, a few days after its launch, Realme announced the first update rollout for the device. The update carries the version number A.10, however, the size of the update is not known. Below is the official update log and the screenshot from the announcement of the update for Realme X2:

The update does not include any security upgradation but, brings in two major feature enhancements in terms of the camera and audio of the Realme X2. Recently, we also covered that Realme has rolled out an update for the Realme 5 Pro, fixing the camera and ghost touch issues.
Note that the update is rolled out in batches via OTA and would take some time in hitting your devices. However, you can always check for the update manually by heading to Settings>>Software Updates>>Check for new updates.
Now, after the launch of Android 10 OS, Realme has shared a roadmap with everyone with shows when and which device will get the update. Android 10 update is slated to roll out from the year 2020. The following devices will receive the updates in respective quarters:

Realme X2 probably will also get the update in the Q1 of 2020. Also, it is expected to arrive in India as the Realme XT which is powered by Snapdragon 730G is slated to release in December in India, confirmed by CEO Madha Sheth:
