Niantic has announced a World Tourism day event for Pokemon Go. The event will start on September 26, 2019, at 1 pm PDT and will stay live until October 1, 2019, at 1 pm PDT. The event is also bringing in a range of bonuses which have been detailed below.
Also, regional Pokemon will hatch from 5 km eggs. Mime Jr is also making its debut to Pokemon Go. It will hatch from 5 kilometers eggs in Europe. Mime Jr. is a fairy and psychic type Pokemon and is the first stage evolution of Mr. Mime. If you are lucky, you may encounter Shiny Mime Jr.
The list of regional Pokemon which will be available under 5 km eggs are the following : Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Tauros, Heracross, Corsola, Volbeat, Illumise, Torkoal, Zangoose, Seviper, Lunatone, Solrock, Tropius, Relicanth, Pachirisu, Mime Jr., Chatot, Pansage, Pansear, Panpour, Heatmor, and Durant.
Shiny versions of Seviper and Zangoose will be available under this event. The bonuses that will be offered during the event are the following:
1) 1/4 Stardust for trading
2) Double XP from Pokestops

For a quick refresher, Niantic added the generation 5 Pokemon to the game on September 16. Unova region Pokemon were added to the game under week three of the Ultra bonus event. However, The Ultra bonus event has ended now.
Giratina altered form is currently available in Raids. Giratina is a Tier 5 Raid Boss and is a Dragon and Ghost-type Pokemon. It is weak against strong Dark-type, Ghost-type, and Dragon-type Pokemon. You can check Giratina counters by heading here.
Mewtwo is returning to raids on October 8, 2019. Earlier, Mewtwo Legendary Raid Hour was scheduled to take place on September 18, 2019.
