April 23, 2014 marked the day when the Chinese Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus debuted the smartphone industry with its premium handset OnePlus One. They never looked back since then. The latest being the flagship OnePlus 7 Pro launched on May 14 this year.
The OnePlus devices are loved worlwide be it for the premium build quality or the stock like Oxygen OS. The OEM’s phones excels in both departments.
Moving forward, OnePlus is all set to launch the latest OnePlus 7T. The device is to be launched in India on September 26. The US and European markets can get a hands on the device from October 10.
So far, not much was revealed about whether the device will shipped with the latest and the greatest Android 10, or rotten old Pie. But that changes today, and the information comes straight from the horse’s mouth. Founder and CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau recently said:
We’re thrilled to offer Android 10, the latest software version, for our upcoming OnePlus 7T. OnePlus will be the first smartphone manufacturer to preload Android 10 with Google’s apps and services on their latest device. Our ‘Never Settle’ mindset ensures we are constantly seeking new ways to share the latest technology, giving our community the best ‘fast and smooth’ experience possible.
As some of you may know, just last week Huawei launched the Mate 30 Pro with Android 10 and EMUI. But the device lacks support for Google’s apps and services. That makes OnePlus 7T the first ever smartphone to come with Android 10 and Google services out of the box.
OnePlus also confirmed that the device will come with a 90hz Fluid dispay panel. Moreover, the handset will have a 4th generation Matte-frosted glass along with gradient color design and a triple rear camera housing, Pete Lau unveiled.
Well, it is more of a speculation than confirmation that OnePlus will launch 7T along with the much teased OnePlus bezelless TV. But the wait won’t be long, as we’ll get to know it tomorrow, i.e. September 26 here.
