Niantic Support has announced that due to technical difficulties, Legendary Raid with Mewtwo has been postponed to a later date. Niantic confirmed the schedule for Legendary Raid Hours on September 3, 2019.
Legendary Raid Hours September 2019 Schedule
From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in your local time zone on the following dates:
September 4, 2019: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune
September 11, 2019: Deoxys
September 18, 2019: Mewtwo
September 25, 2019: To Be Announced
As you can observe above, today Mewtwo was about to appear during Legendary Raid Hours which has now been postponed by Niantic. Many players are very angry with this delay as many people took off from their work or planned their time, especially to participate in this Mewtwo Raid.

Niantic has not announced any new timings for the Mewtwo Legendary Raid Hour. We are keeping a close watch on this, as and when any information arrives, we will update the column.
Apart from this, the third week of the Ultra Bonus event has gone live, and it has brought Generation V Pokemon to the game. Week 3 of the Ultra Bonus Event started on September 16, and will stay live until September 23, 2019, at 1 pm PDT.
The first wave of Unova region Pokemon has also been revealed in a video shared by Niantic. The following Pokemon will be introduced under the first wave of Generation 5 Pokemon : Snivy, Servine, Serperior, Tepig, Pignite, Emboar, Oshawott, Dewott, Samurott, Patrat, Watchog, Lillipup, Herdier, Stoutland, Purrloin, Liepard, Pansage, Simisage, Pansear, Simisear, Panpour, Pidove, Tranquill, Unfezant, Blitzle, Zebrastrika, Drilbu, Excadrill, Foongus, Amoonguss, Ferroseed, Ferrothorn, Klink, Klang, Klinklang, Litwick, Lampent, Chandelure, Golett, Golurk, Heatmor, Durant, Deino, Zweilous, and Hydreigon.
Niantic has also officially announced which Pokemon will appear in the wild, eggs and Raids. Players will be able to hatch Generation 5 starters from 5km eggs; however, they can also be found in the wild. The following list of Pokemon will be available in the wild, eggs and Raids.
1) Pokemon in Wild: Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Patrat, Lillipup, Purrloin, Pidove, Blitzle, and more Pokémon.
2) Eggs: The following list of Generation 5 Pokemon will hatch from eggs
2 km Eggs: Patrat, Lillipup, Purrloin, Pidove
5 km Eggs: Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Blitzle, Drilbur, Foongus
10 km Eggs: Ferroseed, Klink, Litwick, Golett, Deino
3) Pokemon including Lillipup, Patrat, and Klink will appear in Raids.
4) Unova stone has also been introduced into the game which will help to evolve some specific Pokemon like Lampent and others.
Update 1 (Sept 20)
Niantic has announced a new schedule for the Mewtwo Legendary Raid Hour. It will now take place on October 8, 2019, from 6 pm to 7 pm in your local time zone. More details regarding the raid hour will be revealed later. Have a look at the official tweet down below.
