Motorola shifted its base from being a Google owned company to being taken over by Lenovo. Since then, Motorola has failed to capture its most prized position in the market of being one of the sort after OEM in the mid-range and budget category.

Several Chinese smartphone manufacturers like Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and so on, have captured the market & have a firm grip in the segment that was once the market of Motorola smartphones.

Due to the OEMs lack of innovation and new design elements, Motorola smartphones are now heading towards a downfall – something that Nokia also suffered before being taken over by HMD Global. In fact, it was their innovation and zeal to capture the market that got Nokia afloat among its competitors.

But, when it comes to updating the device’s software or even rolling out the firmware Lenovo is just behind Nokia, which is quite interesting.
