Last month, Taiwanese phone manufacturer HTC expanded their mid-range lineup of smartphones by announcing HTC 19e and HTC Desire 19+. While the former went on sale a day after it was announcement, the latter was reported to hit the Taiwanese market in early July.

HTC Desire 19+, for your info, is a 6.2-inch HD+ display device that sports a waterdrop notch. Fueled with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, the phone runs Android Pie with Sense UI on top.

It’s the OEM’s first triple-lens rear camera device and is available in two variants – 64GB+4GB RAM or 128GB+6GB RAM. Not to miss the 3850 mAh battery (which sadly lacks fast charging support). Just like HTC 19e, Desire 19+ also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

While HTC Desire 19+ was expected to land in the Taiwanese market sometime in the beginning of July, which didn’t happen, the phone has now been officially launched in HTC online stores, HTC stores (offline retail) and the province’s gateway stores in Taiwan.

From August 01, this desire series device will be officially sold on the telecom channel, but as already mentioned, only in Taiwan for the time being. All the information came a few days back in form of an announcement at the company’s official help forum.

Here’s what the announcement post reads (translated from Chinese):

Today, HTC website stores, HTC stores, and YAHOO shopping malls, MOMO shopping, PCHOME shopping, Shennao, Dongsen shopping and the whole Taiwan access market are being sold; from now until August 31, at the HTC website and HTC store purchases also enjoy exclusive [new machine mobilization] 1,000 yuan discount .

Here’s more on which telecom channels will be selling the phone in Taiwan and with what tariff plans.

Additionally, HTC is holding up a lottery at the forums, where until July 31, about 10 lucky users will be given the chance to win HTC Bubbles. All they have to do is drop a comment in the announcement post (here) about their favorite HTC Deire 19+ feature.

Those of you who are in Taiwan, and have been planning to grab a Desire 19+, what are you waiting for? Get going. And those of you in regions other that the OEM’s home country, here’s hoping the phone hits the markets of other regions soon.

And yes, feel free to drop a comment and share with us your experience with HTC Desire 19+..
