When is Harry Potter Wizards Unite Adventure Sync Feature coming to the game?

The new augmented reality game ‘Harry Potter Wizards Unite’ has been released worldwide. The game is already living up to its hype as it has been downloaded by 0.4 million players and raked in $300,000 on its first day.

Niantic has done a great job in extending the Wizarding world into an augmented reality game where players are required to walk around to perform in-game tasks. However, the game is behind Pokemon Go in terms of success, as Pokemon Go received 7.5 million downloads on its initial day.

But we are sure Harry Potter Wizards Unite will follow the success path of Pokemon Go in the coming time. The game has huge potential, and Niantic has done a commendable job with graphics of the game. Animations of the game are enchanting just like spells.

But while playing Harry Potter Wizards Unite players are complaining about one key feature which is currently missing from the game. Harry Potter Wizards Unite is missing the Adventure Sync feature.

So what is Adventure Sync? Well, players who have played Pokemon Go should be aware of it. The Adventure Sync feature allows the game to track the distance while the app is running in the background, which is essential to hatch eggs in Pokemon Go.

Similarly, players are required to walk a certain distance to unlock Portkeys in Harry Potter Wizards Unite. However, without the availability of the Adventure Sync feature, players are required to keep the game open if they wish to unlock the Portkeys.

Adventure Sync was added to Pokemon Go last October, two years after the release of the game. Many Harry Potter Wizards Unite players have expressed their desire to have the Adventure Sync feature in the game, and they took it to Reddit and Twitter to express their concern in the hope Niantic will listen to their request.

Niantic Support has given a response to a Twitter user @maxattack116 on this Adventure Sync feature. They have stated that Harry Potter: Wizards Unite does not have the Adventure Sync yet, but they are always looking to make the game more enjoyable.

Proliferating requests will surely push the Niantic to include the fan-favourite feature for the game soon. There is no official word from Niantic for its release yet. But we hope it will be included in the next major update of the game.
