New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on June 15, 2019) follows:
The wait is finally over for Pocophone users! The long anticipated stable update for the Poco F1 is reportedly rolling out to a small number of users as a staged distribution model.
FYI, regular Poco users got the last stable update in the form of MIUI 10.3.4.0 back in early April. Although it brought Widevine L1, 4K@60FPS support and plenty of other improvements, Xiaomi paused the roll out after a while for unspecified bugs.
As a consequence, global Pocophone users are stuck with March security patch, paired with much older MIUI 10.2.3.0. Moreover, Alvin Tse (head of Pocophone Global) hinted about slowing down feature updates for the phone, which erupts further controversies.
Nevertheless, the June update is now live as per Alvin’s projected schedule. Carrying the version number of MIUI 10.3.5.0, the build brings May 2019 security patch for the device.
The full changelog is as follows:
System
– Updated Android Security Patch to May 2019. Increased system security.
Lockscreen, status bar, Notification shade
– New: Introducing customizable Lock screen clock (Settings > Lock screen & password > Advanced settings). New Lock screen clock doesn’t work with third party themes.
Settings
– Optimization: Sorting principles for Wi-Fi networks
Security
– Fix: Dual apps disappeared after a reboot
As readers may notice, the customizable lock screen clock feature is also there for Poco F1. Redmi K20 Pro users got the same functionality a few days ago via stable channel OTA.
Users on both MIUI 10.2.3.0 and 10.3.4.0 are allegedly getting different sized incremental OTA. However, we have managed to grab the full update package for easier sideloading, thanks to yshalsager and the Xiaomi Firmware Updater project.

Update 1 (June 17)
Got the update prompt and it suddenly disappeared? Worry not, as the update has not pulled out. Xiaomi is rolling the OTA update in batches.
If you skipped the initial prompt, you need to wait for your turn which is unpredictably long. You can, however, download the full update package from the above link and install manually.
Update 2 (June 18)
The Pocophone F1 June update roll out is now as official as it can get.
Update 3 (June 24)
The 10.3.5.0 update for Poco F1 is temporarily pulled back due to low speaker volume bug. See here for more info.
Update 4 (July 4)
Xiaomi is currently rolling out the update to 30% of the Poco user base as a pilot.
Releasing the newly patched stable to 30% of the user base first. Once the low sound speaker issue is confirmed as fixed, then we will release to rest of user base.

On the other hand, manually flashing the full update zip is reportedly useful to overcome the low volume bug in Poco F1.
