Living by their custom of transparency, in the past couple of weeks, Chinese phone manufacturer OnePlus has acknowledged bucketload of issues that plague their current flagship device OnePlus 7 Pro and older phones including OnePlus 6/6T and 5/5T.

Apart from that, a OnePlus 7 Pro Warp charge car notification (stating ‘Click to enter the car charger related settings’) glitch also got confirmed by a company employee a few days back. Thankfully, the problem is due to get fixed in the upcoming OTA update.

While that’s good, incoming is a different random notifications-related problem wherein a pop-up stating “Thank you for the feedback” keeps showing up irrespective of the apps being used. The issue isn’t device specific as both OnePlus 7 Pro as well as OnePlus 6 & OnePlus 6T users encounter it.

A lot of reports can be seen posted across the official OnePlus Community, and some at other online discussion platforms like Reddit and Twitter as well. Multiple bug reports have also been filed by affected OnePlus 7 Pro/6/6T users at the community.

As far as we can see, the problem apparently creeped in a couple of weeks back. However, there’s no common link to it like a firmware update or so. For a quick glance, here’s how some of the affected users word it:

No discernible pattern to when these appear, but tends to be when using the phone continuously for several minutes. The screen flickers while the message “Thank you for the feedback” is showing. It lasts for about 5-10 seconds and then goes away. I haven’t worked out a way to dismiss it sooner.

All of a sudden, in multiple apps, screen is flashing and the message appears “thank you for the feedback”

In the last couple of days I get message across the screen that reads “Thank you for the feedback” and at the same time the screen flickers. Have no idea where this comes from. It appears a lot. Made a factory reset but I still see it.

Here’s a user shared image of the notification the pops up:

Sadly, even factory resetting the device doesn’t help as the problem continues to persist.

Here’s hoping OnePlus addressed the issue soon, as there’s appears no particular workaround that can help and reports continue proliferating. Rest assured, we are keeping an active tab on the matter and will update the story as and when any relevant development comes to our sight.

In the meantime, if you’ve figured a way to resolve this issue, feel free to share with other affected users by dropping a comment below.
