OnePlus has started rolling out a new update to its OnePlus 6T smartphone. The update arrives as OxygenOS 9.0.10 and is currently being pushed out over the air.
As for the changes included in the update, the official release notes mention improvements to WiFi stability, Face Unlock, and Nightscape performance. In addition, this new OnePlus 6T update also brings along Android security patch for the month of December.
Here’s the official change-log:
- Updated Android security patch to 2018.12
- Improved Wi-Fi stability for better connectivity
- Face Unlock improvements
- Improved Nightscape performance
OnePlus has been including improvements related to Face Unlock – a key feature of the OnePlus 6T – ever since the flagship released. It’s good to see the company is making sure customers make the most out of their phone’s main selling point.
Since OTA roll out happen in phases, you may need to wait for sometime (may be a day or two). However, if you can’t wait to get the update, you can fetch it via VPN (by setting location to, say, Germany).
After you install the update, don’t forget to share your experience with us in the comments section below.
