NOTE: For all latest, breaking news related to PewDiePie, Logan Paul, other YouTubers, and Youtube in general, head here.
Popular YouTuber Logan Paul – who recently announced their support to PewDiePie in the latter’s subscriber battle against India’s T-Series – had to call YouTube out publicly in order to get a channel banned over blatant copyright infringement. The fan-based YouTube channel LogangPaulers, as alleged by Logan, used to re-upload their videos and earned money.
Paul said they had to go public with the complaint after YouTube didn’t respond to their email for over two days. Indeed, that helped, as YouTube quickly jumped into action and promised to ban the user completely.
We're checking on this alongside your Partner Manager -- he'll follow up with more info. The new Copyright Match tool will also help with this, so look out for details on that too.
