Zwift is the perfect app for cyclers, runners, and triathletes to make indoor training fun like never before. The app has various aspects to it such as a virtual world where you can meet, train and even race others at your own place.

Apart from that, it tracks data such as speed, distance covered, etc. through a speed sensor which can be attached to the pedal of the cycle. In the case of running, the Zwift app needs to connect with a treadmill in order to count the steps and distance.

Basically, with a setup of a stationary bicycle or treadmill and a couple of sensors linked with Zwift, it can track and record your data of all your athletic activities.

But the issue for a couple of Zwift users, possibly after the latest update, is that they’re not able to download or upload Zwift data. This particular data contains the whole map they’ve covered in the virtual world along with other crucial stats.

Hey guys. Having issues since the update with the ride data not being uploaded from Apple TV. It is not uploading to Garmin or Strava or only uploading small portions. Anyone else having this issue?

I had the same issue earlier after completing a group ride on ATV4K. Ride didn’t sync to Strava & Training Peaks and neither can I download the file.

Several complaints are pouring in on the Zwift forums which suggest that people are having problems syncing their data with the devices and other training-based applications such as Strava.

Knowing it to be widespread, Zwift acknowledged the issue via its Twitter handle claiming that data not being uploaded or downloaded is a known problem and a fix for it is in the works.

In the meantime, users who are not able to download or upload Zwift data can go through a workaround for a temporary fix until an update is rolled out to permanently patch the issue.

The workaround involves several reboots and force closing of your device that you use Zwift on. The steps to do so are mentioned in the forums in case you aren’t familiar with the process.
