Yelp down or not working? Well well, you ain’t the only one trying to figure out the reason. There are many others encountering the same problem with Yelp app (and some with the website too) – an online directory combined with social networking as well as user reviews.

Here’s how some of the complainants word the issue across micro-blogging site Twitter:

Here’s what users get to see on accessing the website (left image) and app (rigt image):

A quick look at Down detector, the service that gives information about outages, shows the service is indeed encountering a glitch in some regions of the US (as can be seen in the image below).

We are keeping a continuous tab on all related developments and will update this page with all relevant info.

IST 09:12 am: Users have recently begun to complain about Yelp app and website going down. What’s more frustrating is that it is down on a Friday night.
