While the users are waiting for the last year’s Android 10 OS update to hit their Redmi Note 8 and 8T, Xiaomi has pushed a new update for both the devices.
Just a gentle reminder, after halting the Android 10 update for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, Xiaomi has recently re-released the update along with the Netflix HD support, which was missing from the phone even after spotting a Full HD screen.
And cut to now, May monthly updates are now live for the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T, which are basically bringing in optimizations for improved system stability.

The update is arriving as version number V11.0.5.0.PCOINXM for the Redmi Note 8 and as V11.0.4.0.PCXMIXM for the Redmi Note 8T. Xiaomi made an announcement regarding both the updates on the official community forum.
As you might have noticed, both the updates a coined as “Beta Global Stable“, meaning that the updates are seeding for random users and will be pushed for the masses after the successful preview of the beta global stable updates.
