There are several users that are waiting for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Android 10 update. And ever since the launch of the MIUI 12 from Xiaomi happened, it seemed like the Android 10 plans for the phone was put at the back burner.
It was earlier revealed that the Redmi Note 7 users will get a bundle that will include Android 10 along with MIUI 12, which got the users excited. However, there was no ETA for the said rollout.
As per the MIUI 12 update roadmap, the device has been placed in Phase 2 of the rollout, meaning that the update could arrive anytime in Q3 of 2020.
And for this very reason, then came in the news which stated that the Android 10 update could be on its way before the MIUI 12 update hits the Redmi Note 7.
Cut to now, we think that this will materialize soon because as per a comment by one of the Xiaomi moderators, the Android 10 update could be very soon pushed for the Redmi Note 7. Obivously there was no ETA mentioned so, the “when?” part of the statement is not yet known.
Here is what the moderator responded to one of the user query related to Android 10 status for the Redmi Note 7:
Good news coming very soon, All i can say that wait is gonna over soon.

For a gentle reminder, the Redmi Note 7 has already grabbed the Android 10 update in China very recently, without the MIUI 12.
And if we believe that Android 10 will be pushed before MIUI 12, which is expected in July, then on that basis, Redmi Note 7 should be served with the Android 10 update, sometime in this month.
But, there are several reasons to take the latest comment by the moderator with a pinch of salt. One of the reasons is that last month a moderator claimed that the update for the device will arrive in May, which never happened.
However, there is a strong case that the Android 10 update will arrive without MIUI 12 going by the fact that the same happened for the Chinese variants of the Redmi Note 7. Rest assured, we will keep you posted once something new related to this comes across our table.
