The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series is perhaps the most extensive ever in the history of the hugely popular Redmi Note series. This year we have Snapdragon/Mediatek variants, models with or without 5G, and whatnot.
While the prices of the variants vary greatly, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G variant sits closer to the cheaper end of the spectrum yet comes with 5G support.
This has been made possible by the economical yet fairly powerful Mediatek Dimensity 700 5G chip announced quite recently in March this year.
On the software side of things, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G came with Android 11-based MIUI 12 out-of-the-box, meaning that it was yet to get a taste of MIUI 12.5.
Typically, all other devices launched in 2021 had been taken up by the Chinese MIUI 12.5 beta program within a month.
Not so with the Redmi Note 10 5G though which has received nothing but a couple of bug-fixing MIUI 12 stable updates since launch.
Today, this changes as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has now bagged its first MIUI 12.5 build ever in the form of a beta in China. The build carries a version of 21.6.28 and its download link and changelog have been given below.

The build should also be installable on the global variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G as well as the Poco M3 Pro 5G since they carry the same codenames.
But to install it, you will need an unlocked bootloader, unless you somehow happen to be a part of the Chinese MIUI 12.5 beta testing program.
However, if your bootloader is locked, then you won’t need to wait for much longer as a stable MIUI 12.5 global rollout shouldn’t really be too far now.
