After making the MIUI 12 stable update available for the Redmi K30 (Poco X2 in India), Chinese OEM Xiaomi is now rolling out the MIUI 12 stable update for the Pro variant, i.e. Redmi K30 Pro/Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition (aka Poco F2 Pro outside China).

The non-pro variant picked up the MIUI 12 stable yesterday along with the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom in their home country of China, but reports of the latter’s arrival remained scarce.

Today, we can confirm that the latest iteration of MIUI is indeed available for the Redmi K30 Pro as well. The update is currently live for Chinese users just like other MIUI 12 stable updates that have been pushed so far.

The MIUI 12 update brings along tons of new features and enhancements, among them super wallpapers, new visuals, new system animations, enhanced privacy protection, floating windows, AI call assistant, new dark mode, enhanced control center, AOD and much more.

The incoming Redmi K30 Pro MIUI 12 update carries version number V12.0.1.0.QJKCNXM and below is the official changelog:

Readers should note that even though the Redmi K30 Pro and Poco F2 Pro share the same internals, the stable MIUI 12 update for the Poco F2 Pro is still not available as of yet. But it shouldn’t be long now that Chinese variants of the device are receiving it.

It was announced earlier that the Poco F2 Pro will get the new Android 11 Beta 1 update. Just so you knoe, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro have already picked up the same update. It will be interesting to see when the OEM pushes the promised Android 11 Beta 1 update for the Poco F2 Pro.

Update 2 (July 27)

A new MIUI 12-based software update for the Redmi K30 Pro is beginning to roll out to users in China. It comes as version V12.0.3.0.QFKCNXM and is available via an OTA update. Here’s the changelog for the update:

– Fixed: The phone would turn off or reboot in some circumstances when using sensors.
– Fixed: Auto brightness adjusted the screen unstably in some dark environments.
