The beta update version 20.11.16 is out for Xiaomi’s beta testing program members in China with a new feature for the MIUI Notes app.

The Thinking Note feature of the Notes app on the latest MIUI 12 beta generates a Mind Map with one tap allowing users to record notes without any hassle.

Also, the Privacy section of the Security app has received a redesigned UI with latest MIUI 12 public beta update in China.

NOTE: The above changelog has been translated from Chinese (via Google Translate) and some things might have been lost in the translation.

However, in order to get the aforementioned features, the latest MIUI 12 update must be flashed manually as it is a nightly build and is not available over the air.

Also, it is unclear when these features will hit the weekly beta channel so the only way to grab the said features is to go for manual installation for the time being.

While the MIUI 12 Notes app Mind Map feature comes along with the beta update, the Security app with redesigned Privacy section UI can be downloaded from the link given below.

It must be noted that the latest Security app might not work on global MIUI 12 ROM as it is has been released only in China.

Since the latest features are still being tested in China, it will take some time before they hit the global stable channel.

Meanwhile, you can check out the video given below to get a glimpse of the latest MIUI 12 Notes app feature and the redesigned Privacy section UI of the MIUI Security app.

That said, we will keep tracking the development of MIUI 12 so stay tuned to get the latest updates on the topic.
