Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 brought major improvements to the in-house custom skin with features like Super Wallpapers, Control Center, and much more.
Since the latest custom skin was announced back in April, the OEM has been steadily improving it by adding more features while refining the existing ones.
Now, another new feature appears to be rolling out to several MIUI 12 running devices which will further enhance the user experience.
The new feature is for MIUI 12 Control Center which allows users to close the same by tapping on a blank spot inside it.
The said feature is out for devices like the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi 9C NFC, and Mi 10 in Europe while the Chinese Redmi K20 (aka Mi 9T globally) and Redmi K30 5G have also bagged the same.
While the new Control Center feature is not a major upgrade, it can still be considered as a handy enhancement as it simplifies usability.
Also, it might be possible that the feature is already out for more devices apart from the aforementioned ones but reports of the same are yet to surface.
So, it is safe to assume that the nifty feature might arrive on more MIUI 12 running devices in the near future.
Xiaomi has been super active this year as the in-house custom skin has received a lot of improvements.
Moreover, it seems that the OEM does not intend to slow down as such new features keep on surfacing every now and then.
That said, we will keep tracking the development of MIUI 12 and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
