While MIUI 12 has been the talk of the town lately, it is simply because of some of the amazing new features and the overhauled UI. Super Wallpapers, Control Center, and Frame Rate Monitor are among these new features that make MIUI 12 desirable.
However, there is one feature that is not getting the attention that it deserves. MIUI 12’s Super Document is quite a handy feature which offers efficient file management without having the need for third-party apps. Also, it supports document thumbnail preview.
Now, some new development is taking place with the Super Document feature as Xiaomi has released the MIUI 12 beta update version 20.9.3 in China. The latest beta update has added five new functionalities to Super Document making it an even more powerful tool.
The OEM has recently announced the MIUI 12 China beta update on the Mi Community outlining all the new enhancements for Super Document.
So, if you own a Chinese Xioami device variant and are also a part of Xioami’s testing program, you can grab the beta update over the air.
Here’s the changelog for MIUI 12 China Beta ROM 20.9.3:

While the changelog only includes details about Super Document, the announcement offers some insight about Xiaomi’s Android 11 update. It is mentioned in the Note section that the update for the Mi 10 Lite and Redmi K30 5G is temporarily suspended due to the ongoing Android upgrade.
This means that the OEM is making every effort to fine-tune its latest custom UI and deliver the latest OS update from Google as soon and efficiently as possible. However, it is unclear when the new functions of the Super Document feature will hit the stable channel.
Meanwhile, you can check out our MIUI 12 update tracker if your Xiaomi device is yet to bag the latest custom skin. Also, be sure to go through our Xiaomi Android 11 update tracker to stay updated on the topic.
