Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 is full of new features and offers an overhauled user experience which makes it the biggest update for Mi fans across the globe.

The development of MIUI 12 beta update has resumed after a temporary suspension and the OEM has been adding new features and improvements to the latest custom skin.

The latest beta update version 20.10.19 is out for Xiaomi’s beta testing program members in China and it brings along several enhancements.

We reported earlier today that the latest beta update includes optimizations for Super Wallpapers making them faster and lag free.

Now, some more details have surfaced about the same beta update that show several new options for Dark Mode.

The latest MIUI 12 beta version has added two new options namely Adjust wallpaper to Dark mode and Adjust text backgrounds automatically.

These new options are found under the More Dark mode options section which can be accessed via the device’s Display settings.

While the update log did not include the new Dark Mode options, it seems that the OEM is still testing them.

It must be noted that Xiaomi recently held a poll between the MIUI 12 Dark and Light modes where users appeared to be more inclined towards the former.

While the OEM has not made any official announcements about enhancing Dark mode, we would like to believe that the new options might arrive in the upcoming MIUI 12 updates.

That said, we will keep tracking the development of MIUI 12 as several devices are still in line to bag the latest custom skin.
