Xiaomi will announce the new MIUI 12 update for global Mi and Redmi handsets on May 19, 2020. The Poco family is also expected to feature when official details come out, but we all know the software has been out for weeks now.

Launched on April 27, Xiaomi has been trialing MIUI 12 update on select devices sold in the home country of China. Among them is the Mi CC9 Pro, a device whose global name is Xiaomi Mi Note 10.

Those who shipped the Mi CC9 Pro straight from China have the advantage of getting access to new software and features ahead of their Mi Note 10 counterparts. However, this isn’t the case all the time.

Case in point is the latest Mi CC9 Pro Android 10 update. The OS is just hitting this model in China nearly two weeks after the global Mi Note 10 Android 10 OTA went out.

Arriving as MIUI version 11.1.1.0.QFDCNXM, the update is available over the air and hence staged. This means some Mi CC9 Pro owners will get it ahead of others.

Rather than wait for days or maybe even weeks before picking up the Mi CC9 Pro Android 10 OTA update, we have the download link for manual installation. If you are familiar with the process, you should know how easy it is.

  • Device: Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro
  • Codename: tucana
  • Channel: China Stable
  • Version: V11.1.1.0.QFDCNXM
  • Android: 10
    • Type: Recovery
      • Download: Link
      • MD5: ac86b5aab300e26bbc98d4cea5bdf681

For those in the dark, simply download the firmware above on your CC9 Pro and use the MIUI Updater app to switch to Android 10. As for the stable MIUI 12 update, expect it somewhere in Q3 2020.
