Xiaomi Mi A3 owners are the ones, that even after receiving several updates, have struggled a good amount of time to enjoy the bug-free Android 10 update on their device.

Out of frustration, users of the Mi A3 have even demanded a refund from the OEM, as Xiaomi seemed incapable of fixing the bugs and providing the Mi A3 users with an error-free Android 10 update.

However, finally, Xiaomi was able to get rid of all the bugs and issues with the Android 10 update for Mi A3 and rolled out a stable update back in April. Interestingly, the update was not pushed for the Mi A3 users in India.

But, if we go by the recent announcement, it seems like the company is now rolling out the Android 10 stable update for the Mi A3 users in India. Because as per an official post in the official Mi community forum, it has been shared that the new OS update is live for 1% of Indian users, as of yet.

Previously also, Xiaomi has rolled out the update in a staggered manner, which might be the OEMs way of making sure that if a bug is present in the update, it affects the least number of users.

Moreover, confirming this information, a post by one of the Xiaomi Mi A3 users on Reddit confirms that, indeed the Android 10 update is now live for the Indian users, although it is just 1% in number.

What caught our attention is that the update size is a mere 33.1 MB, whereas for some, the update weighs in around 1.33 GB. But, all in all, taking a quick look at the comments in the post, reveals that the update does bring what it says.

Also, note that the update also bumps the security patch level with the latest May 2020 patch. Here is what the changelog reads:

Highlights include the following:
– Dark Theme
– Gesture Navigation
– Privacy controls
