This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..

Original story (from May 11) follows:

Android 10’s advent on the Xiaomi Mi A3 devices has been quite a topsy-turvy episode so far. Released for the first time back in February, the OEM couldn’t manage to deliver a bug-free stable update and their half-baked releases caused them to push and pull the update multiple times.

Finally, a couple of months from when they actually started, Xiaomi managed to push the least buggy Android 10 update (V11.0.14.0.QFQMIXM) to Mi A3 devices. However, this time to avoid another bash from users, they followed an approach of phased rollout (push to limited % at a time) to ensure that no unfinished business was delivered.

After a successful global release, Mi A3 devices in the European region also got to experience the Android 10 (V11.0.1.0 QFQEUXM) lately. We better put it bluntly that even the latest release wasn’t completely bug-free. Right after the release, we highlighted that Camera Pro Mode shutter speed was reduced to 1/4s.

What’s good is that the issue was brought to the notice of the concerned team well in time. And going by the latest reports it has been addressed in the latest Android 10-based May security patch that is hitting the devices with version V11.0.15.0.QFQMIXM.

While earlier it was stuck at 1/4s (left image), now there’s no such issue (right image).

If reports are to believe, the Android 10 Launcher issue has also been resolved.

The information regarding the May OTA update came in the form of an official announcement post at the community, and it says the update right now is being pushed to 10% of the devices, which excluded India. Users have already started receiving the 35MB OTA package.
