Xiaomi’s latest skin MIUI 12 – on top of Android 11/10 – has been a major piece of attraction ever since the OEM first announced it. While the stable update (as is usually the case) first struck the devices in Xiaomi’s home country China, slowly it’s making way to the Global device as well.

We at PiunikaWeb are making every possible effort to bring to our readers all MIUI 12 update-related information at the soonest, along with the update download links as well so that they don’t have to wait for the OTA to hit their devices. Apart from frequent coverages about the devices getting the MIUI 12 update, we are maintaining a tracker (region-specific) that is being continuously updated with the information about the Xiaomi devices that are been served the stable MIUI 12 update.

Cut to now. It’s time for another Xiaomi device outside China, the Mi 9T aka Redmi K20 to get to experience the stable MIUI 12 update. Following the China release last week, the OEM has now released the MIUI 12 update for the global and India variants as version V12.0.1.0.QFJINXM and V12.0.1.0.QFJMIXM.

Many global and European units of the Mi 9T are yet to receive the stable update to MIUI 12. Head here for more details.

Update 2 (July 21)

A new beta stable version for the Mi 9T has been announced. It comes as version V12.0.2.0.QFJMIXM and has been pushed via OTA.

Update 3 (July 25)

Xiaomi has paused the MIUI 12 update rollout for Global, European, and Russian Mi 9T units due to a minor bug. The issue is being looked into according to a Mi community moderator. See the full story here.

Update 4 (July 29)

The Redmi K20 is now receiving a new OTA update in India as version V12.0.2.0.QFJINXM which brings the July security patch. The company has also re-released the MIUI 12 update for the Global Mi 9T. See the full story here.
