MIUI 12 is the latest iteration of Xiaomi’s custom UI, which was launched back in April. Although it has been two months since its launch, there are several phones like Xiaomi Mi 8 still waiting to get updated with MIUI 12.

Well, the pace at which Xiaomi is rolling out MIUI 12 updates for its devices has been decent, considering the fact that the OEM has its presence in multiple regions and a huge portfolio of phones to cover.

Fast forward to now, some new information is available for the Xiaomi Mi 8 which is still waiting for its MIUI 12 update.

If we go by the screenshot shared by a guy on Weibo, the official MIUI handle has replied to a comment regarding Mi 8 MIUI 12 update.

As per the comment, the second batch of MIUI 12 updates is expected to go live in China by the end of July and the update should make its way two weeks later for Xiaomi Mi 8.

Here is what the actual Weibo post reads:

The second batch of MIUI12 stable version of MIUI12 is expected to be released at the end of July, and may be pushed two weeks later!

If we look at the comment section of the post, several users have also pointed out that customer support stated the release date of the Xiaomi Mi 8 MIUI 12 update to be early July.

So, from the above post, what we can understand is that the MIUI 12 stable update for Xiaomi Mi 8 should arrive somewhere right after the second batch of MIUI 12 update goes live in July-end or might be delayed by further two weeks and begin rolling out in mid-August.
