The Xiaomi Mi 10 is part of Xiaomi’s flagship series for 2020. The Mi 10, along with the Mi 10 Pro released back in February and came with MIUI 11 running on top of Android 10. It was but obvious that the Mi 10 series would be part of the first few phones to get the MIUI 12 update when it was first announced in China.
As expected, the MIUI 12 update for the Mi 10 first rolled out in China. Not much long after, the update was also released for the Global, European, and Russian variants of the Mi 10. But MIUI 12 is yet to roll out for the device in Indonesia, where it is expected to get the update this month.
Xiaomi has multiple region-based ROMs as you may notice from the information provided above. And up until now, the company didn’t have a Turkey-specific ROM for any of its smartphones. This has now changed since the Mi 10 is the first phone from Xiaomi to get a ROM specifically meant for units sold in Turkey.
Well, the good news for Mi 10 users in Turkey doesn’t end just there. Xiaomi has now officially announced the release of MIUI 12 for a limited number of users on the Turkey ROM. The new update comes as version 12.0.1.0.QJBTRXM and is available via an OTA package.
This is currently a beta stable ROM and once it is considered to be free from any major bugs, it should begin rolling out to the rest of the public. Typically, the stable update goes live after 2-3 weeks from when the beta stable update is released.
Thus, Mi 10 users on the Turkey ROM will not have to wait too long before the MIUI 12 stable update arrives on their devices. FYI, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are also part of the Android 11 beta program by Xiaomi in case you wish to try out the upcoming Android version.
Xiaomi is also set to release the MIUI 12 update for a bunch of devices this month. So you might want to keep an eye out on our MIUI 12 update tracker to know when it arrives on your device.
