So, the new hot topic of the town is Xiaomi’s latest iteration of its custom UI, the MIUI 12. It was launched back a few days ago on April 27 alongside the launch of Mi 10 Youth Edition, in China.
The MIUI 12 closed beta early adopters registrations have already begun for eligible devices in China, for those who wish to experience all the new features and enhancements this MIUI 12 brings in for the Xiaomi phones.
And going by the latest developments, two of the handsets, Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, which were eligible to receive the MIUI 12 closed beta China ROM, are indeed picking up the beta updates.
The MIUI 12 brings in tons of new features and enhancements like the new design, new animations, Super Wallpapers, AOD, enhanced privacy, AI calling, dynamic weather, new gestures, etc for the Xiaomi devices.

The MIUI 12 open beta update which is scheduled to kick off from May 8, 2020, in China, will first land on both the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro.
While the first wave of the MIUI 12 official stable update will be rolled out for a set number of devices, starting from June-end, which also includes the Mi 10 series.
This confirms that the owners of the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will be the first in line to receive the closed beta, the open beta, and the official stable update of the MIUI in China.
