Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 launch event in late April 2020 wasn’t without a fair share of accompaniments. Among them was the camera-centric Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Zoom Edition.

The Mi 10 Lite Zoom is the first from the company to feature a periscope camera with up to 5x optical zoom and up to an impressive 50x digital zoom. The device also comes baked with 5G support, making it future-proof.

Xiaomi promised to push an OTA update to the device to bump the system to MIUI 12. This update is now rolling out in China, at least according to a Weibo user who also shared the screengrab below.
