Xiaomi users across the world are waiting for the unveiling of MIUI 12, which is scheduled for April 27 at 2 PM in China. During the course of time, much has been teased about the features and other aspects of MIUI 12.
Alongside MIUI 12, the Chinese smartphone giant also plans to introduce the Mi 10 Lite (which will be called Mi 10 Youth Edition in China) via online conference.
In the past, Xiaomi has teased features like Dark Mode 2.0, and MIUI 12 Dynamic AOD (Always on Display). Then came in a news, that Germany’s TÜV Rheinland company has cleared the new MIUI 12 for its release.
All in all, Xiaomi was well prepping up for this release and since Google has already pushed developer builds of Android 11 (Android R), it is good to see that heavy skin OEMs like Xiaomi are already up for the release of their next iteration of custom UI.
And if we go by recent developments, Xiaomi is all set to release a Doraemon based Limited Edition for the Mi 10 Lite (aka Mi 10 Youth Edition) which is expected to be released along with the MIUI 12.
This is not something new, as the company has already sent out Doraemon-themed invites for the online conference that is scheduled for April 27, hinting that the company is thinking to get Doraemon on-board for something. But, hang on. Because that’s not all.
A new Weibo post has recently come up, that shows all the colors of Mi 10 Lite aka Mi 10 Youth Edition, and also reveals some finer details about the phone. Notably, the smartphone will come with a thickness of 8mm and will weigh at around 200 gms.
And as per the poster above, the smartphone will come in six colors, namely Pink Peach, Orange Storm, Green Tea, Blueberry, Black, and a sixth mystery color, which is expected to be the Doraemon Theme.
All our speculations about the MIUI 12 and Mi 10 Lite aka Mi 10 Youth Edition, will be cleared on April 27, when the online conference is scheduled. Till then, we will keep an eye out for any more information related to MIUI 12 or the Mi 10 Lite phone.
