Xiaomi.eu is easily one of the most popular custom ROMs available right now and it isn’t even based on AOSP. The community-driven project aims to provide the latest China beta ROMs to global users.

There are of course several other optimizations and additional features too. For starters, every Xiaomi.eu build comes with as little bloatware as possible with only essential system and Google apps.

Additionally, most of the system ads, if not all, have also been done away with. These ROMs are released on a weekly basis for almost every Xiaomi device with an active beta program.

Now, as many may already be aware by now, Xiaomi recently made available a list of devices eligible for the MIUI 12.5 update along with the ETA. This was given out with the MIUI 12.5 global launch.

The list had specified that most of the latest flagship offerings by Xiaomi will be treated to MIUI 12.5 stable early Q2. And now that Q2 is here, we saw several devices get updated starting with the Mi 10 Ultra.

However, this update process has only started and there are scores of devices still left. While many of these will get the update by late Q2 2021, the list is said to be incomplete so some devices may even take longer.

In other words, the wait is still on for stable MIUI 12.5. But as we all know, Xiaomi’s MIUI beta development never stops. New features get added continually to the beta branch even as stable rollouts continue.

Therefore the MIUI beta branch has now received a version bump to MIUI 12.6. This information comes from the “Xiaomi.eu ROM leader.”

Xiaomi.eu ROM development goes hand in hand with the MIUI 12.5 Chinese builds. After all, the former is based on the latter. And if Xiaomi.eu has kickstarted MIUI 12.6 development, then Xiaomi had done so too.

Not many details are available currently regarding MIUI version 12.6 but one can expect it to be just a minor update over MIUI 12.5 and will still go by the same name – MIUI 12.5.

Anyway, the latest Xiaomi.eu build 21.3.31/4.1, which is purportedly based on MIUI 12.6, can be downloaded from the links given on this official page. The full changelog for the update has been given below:
